Primary Research- Lotherton visit

I visited the lotherton hall bird garden to get some primary research on the owls. I got 180 to 360 shots of a barn owl that a keeper I was talking too through email let me have a closer look at. It was a youngish owl and was only just learning how to be handled with the glove so it was hard to take some pictures because of him moving about and flapping his wings. The owl wasn’t flying weight so sadly I couldn’t get any action shots or anything where the owl was flying .The owl was also duo camouflaged which means that from above it looks like wheat or the ground and from the floor it looks like a the sky to a mouse because of its pure white body it could be a cloud. The keeper let me stroke the owl and it was really soft and he said that they are mostly made up of feathers so ill have to take this into account when I am modelling my own owl.
