Having purchased guildwars2 before going to Eurogamer this
talk was a big interest to me and how they were going to develop the game. Most
of the content they showed was based around the living story aspect of the game
which I have only seen guild wars (Area net) use within their games. The game
updates every month with what happens within the living story changes what
happens in the next months update. They talked about how the structure of the
living world teams and how they work together in a team to create each update.
Also discuss about different parts of the game and how when a update is about
to be released they close down sections of the workforce to test it and to do
bug fixes before the update goes live. All though the talk was very interesting
and told you partially how a big company works I was a bit disappointed that
some aspects of the game got left out of the talk.
