GA-MA-YO

GA-MA-YO is an informal network for people that develop games within and around Yorkshire. It is for all kinds of game makers from pros to hobbyists. It is more aimed at individuals or small groups rather than companies but is a good way of finding out what’s going on.  There is an events section where it shows game developer meet-ups and events within Yorkshire itself and in the UK in general. The team section shows a lot of different individuals/companies that are based around Yorkshire and ways on how to contact each one.
I would use this website more when I have sorted out a much better internet presence for myself, so I could also be contacted to help others out with their projects. I see this website being a big help to getting me into the industry and a good way to start networking with people.
